Smoothie Bowls

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

Let's chat about one of my favorite quick and easy breakfast go-to's: smoothie bowls.

What I love about smoothie bowls is that you have the nutritional benefit of your usual favorite smoothie but with the opportunity to get your creative juices flowing by putting your smoothie into a bowl and adding yummy toppings for flavor, texture, and, lets be honest, fun!

This recipe is incredibly simple.  For the smoothie, toss the following into a high-speed blender:

  • Two frozen bananas

  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries

  • Water or your favorite nut milk of choice (the amount here can totally vary depending on how you like the consistency of your smoothie to be. Play around with this).

My toppings here include: slivered almonds, coconut flakes, fresh blueberries, chia and hemp seeds, oats and pineapple. Yum!
